    Story line

    GMA-7 has revealed the cast members of its upcoming prime-time series, Widows' Web. A story conference was held on December 2 with its lead stars. The series serves as a big break to Kapuso actress Ashley Ortega, whose portrayal in the recently concluded series Legal Wives earned a nod from its viewers. Pauline Mendoza, who got her break in the afternoon series Babawiin Ko Ang Lahat, is also portraying one of the lead roles in the series. Finally, Carmina Villarroel completes the lead cast of the show. She also worked with Pauline in Babawiin Ko Ang Lahat. Also part of Widows' Web are Vaness del Moral, Adrian Alandy, Arthur Solinap, Dave Bornea, and EA Guzman. Allan Paule, Vanessa Peña, Anjay Anson, and Karenina Haniel complete the cast members of the show. Widows' Web is the first Kapuso directorial job of longtime ABS-CBN director Jerry Lopez Sineneng, who signed with GMA-7 later this year.
